Athletes from 8 countries confirmed their participation in ESOC 2020

In March 2020 Khanty-Mansiysk is going to host the European Ski Orienteering Championships and Ski Orienteering World Cup Final. Races will be held on the territory of the Alexander Filipenko Winter Sports Center. The organizing committee of the event has received confirmations of participation from athletes representing 8 countries – Russia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Sweden, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Finland.

The process of getting the venue ready for the championships is now in full swing. Organizers have already prepared a net of narrow ski tracks with the total length about 58 kilometers!

The program of the event includes 5 races:

March 10 – sprint
March 11 – middle distance
March 12 – sprint relay
March 14 – long distance
March 15 – relay
